Yes, I’m particular… but I LOVE the Microsoft Laser Mouse 6000 USB WIRED mouse. But, Microsoft has quit selling it! :( I use the wheel mouse a lot, but mine has been acting up for well over a year now, and it’s driving me a bit nuts. I’ve taken it apart several times and cleaned it, but it’s a mechanism problem, not dirt.
I love it because it’s a 5-button mouse, and since I do so much on the web, I use the side buttons for "back" and "forward" quite a bit, and the wheel button for magnifying. I’ve tried several other mice over the past 1+ years, but no other mouse has the comfort and the buttons the way I like. So, I’ve been looking to buy one for a while now, and I cannot find one for LESS than $60 each! That, or every store that lists it for sale is out of stock, or is actually selling the WIRELESS version! (which is a very different form-factor and buttons.)

Well, I’m hoping someone out there might find one in their surfing and will either buy it and I’ll reimburse them, or point me in the right direction to get one (okay… three!) at a REASONABLE cost.
This is an exceptional piece of hardware – I don’t understand why Microsoft isn’t selling it anymore – a lot of people want it.
